Invictus

Out of the night that covers me,Black as the Pit from pole to pole,I thank whatever gods may beFor my unconquerable soul.In the fell clutch of circumstanceI have not winced nor cried alo

 

The last 2 lines always inspire me!

“I am the master of my fate:

I am the captain of my soul”

I try to believe even in the darkest of times with chaos all around me that I have a semblance of control over my destiny. It is a result of my actions and choices in life. I have faced troubling times in my life when all seems to be going wrong and I felt bludgeoned by chance. But, my fate; good or bad, is mine alone to live with. All I can do is face it unafraid 🙂

Don’t lose sight of your priorities. Nurture your passions and relationships (whether it’s with yourself or others). If you put all your heart into it, your rose too will blossom. All you need to do is keep trying. I’m still impatiently trying to nurture mine 🙂

Daily Inspiration #6

Maybe the grass is greener on the other side depends who was standing in it. Sometimes you have to go over there and look.

If yours isn’t green enough you can nurture it, make it greener and welcome others to your side. But if you’ve outlived your patch, don’t be afraid to search for greener pastures and walk over to the other side. Remember, the grass is green wherever you water it! 🙂
